About the scholarship
Learning English abroad changes lives — but cost is often the barrier. To help, Philippines School offers an annual $500 (USD) scholarship toward the cost of an accredited English-language course, anywhere in the world. The award is paid directly to the winner's chosen English school.
Eligibility
- Open to students aged 16 or older, of any nationality, worldwide.
- You must be planning to take (or currently taking) an English-language course.
- No application fee. No purchase necessary. You do not have to book through us.
How to apply
Send us a short essay (200–400 words) on the topic:
“Why learning English abroad matters to me.”
Email your essay together with your full name, country and age to [email protected] with the subject line “Scholarship Application 2026”.
Key dates
- Application deadline: December 1, 2026
- Winner announced: by January 15, 2027 (by email and on this page)
How winners are chosen
Entries are judged on merit — the clarity, sincerity and motivation of the essay. The decision is final. By applying you give us permission to publish your first name, country and essay if you win.
