Why contact me?
I work directly with Philippine schools and see what brochures stay silent about: where they teach until ten in the evening, where you'll be placed in a quad room without air conditioning, and where you can't leave the campus in the evening.
Need an IELTS score by a deadline? Almost all 23 schools prepare for it, but you can officially take the exam right where you studied in only two. The rest - you'll have to travel across Cebu and register separately.
Going with a child? Most take children from seven years old. But there are schools that accept kids from three or four into a children's group, while you study in parallel on a lighter course.
Want your own schedule or your own accommodation? Half of the schools won't suit remote work: evening self-study and curfew. And only three of the 23 schools allow living outside the dormitory.
Selection is free: my work is paid by the school, and the price for you is the same as booking directly, no markups. So I have no reason to lead you somewhere it will be bad.

How to learn English
Fluent speakers and decades of language-learning research point to the same conclusion: regular, real-world use is essential. Immersion gives you far more opportunities to practise than an occasional weekly class.
Live somewhere English is unavoidable. In an English-speaking country like the Philippines, every meal, market and conversation becomes practice - and your brain shifts from translating to thinking in English. This single factor outweighs every textbook, app and course combined. It's why immersion abroad works when years of classes at home don't.
Speaking practice matters. Start before you feel completely ready, make mistakes and correct them in real time - fluency develops through use, not memorisation alone.
Nothing beats a patient teacher focused only on you, every single day. Personal attention turns weak points into strengths far faster than any group class.
Order food, ask directions, make friends in English. Vocabulary tied to real moments sticks; words drilled from a list fade by the weekend.
A term of daily practice can help many learners advance by a full CEFR level. Consistent practice in a supportive environment is more effective than short bursts followed by long breaks.
Put those together and they describe one thing: total immersion by the sea. That's exactly what studying English in the Philippines gives you. See the programs →
The approach
You don't learn a language by studying it from the surface. You learn it by staying in - surrounded, unhurried, supported - until it becomes the way you think.
The Philippines
Between rainforest and reef, your English has room to grow.
How it works
We handle all the logistics. You just study.
Tell us your level, budget, city and preferred dates - 2 minutes.
Julia personally reviews your goals and shortlists the 2-3 best-fit schools and campuses she would recommend for you.
The school you choose sends an official invoice - you pay tuition directly to the school.
We handle enrolment. We explain how to arrange a visa if you need one (e.g. stays over 30 days) and how it can be extended on-site.
We welcome you to campus, help you check in and support you throughout your stay. Airport pickup is also available on request, with support available 24/7.
Prices
Meals are included; accommodation is included only in the packages marked ‘room + meals’. The exact figure depends on the school, room type and intensity - we send a full quote when we match you, free.

Why the Philippines
English is an official language of the Philippines - used in schools, government and everyday life - and english is widely used in education, government and everyday life, and Filipino English is strongly influenced by American English. This makes the Philippines an accessible and affordable place to practise every day.
The Philippines has one of the world’s largest English-speaking populations. English is a co-official language, so you keep practising outside class too - in shops, cafes and with everyone you meet.
Filipino English is widely understood and is often influenced by American English, giving students regular exposure to clear, practical spoken English - ideal for IELTS, TOEFL, work and travel.
Schools here are built around intensive one-to-one lessons - far more speaking time each day than group classes in the West, for a fraction of the price.
Tuition, private lessons, room and meals cost a fraction of the US, UK or Australia. For price-to-progress, the Philippines is hard to beat.
