Bodies to look for
Match the destination to its regulator:
- UK — British Council (Accreditation UK)
- Malta — ELT Council
- Australia — CRICOS registration
- New Zealand — NZQA (Category 1 preferred)
- Singapore — CPE / EduTrust
- Dubai — KHDA
How to verify
Never take a logo at face value — check the accreditor's own online register for the school's name. If a school can't show current accreditation, treat it as a red flag.
